- Dr. Adeli is the founder, Chairman and CEO of the RAVAND Institute for Economic and International Studies. RAVAND is the first Iranian, independent, non –government and private Think Tank; engaged in policy oriented researches, Strategic advising, and organizing special gatherings and forums. Ravand is committed to the promotion of understanding and partnership among different actors such as officials, entrepreneurs, civil society and media at domestic, regional and international levels.
- He served as the Governor of Central Bank of Iran from 1989-1994 for a full five year term, where he is credited for having spearheaded major reforms in Iran’s financial sector.
- Dr. Adeli served as Advisor to the President of the Republic for International Affairs.
- Dr Adeli also served as advisor to Iran’s Minister of Oil from 1984 to 1985, during which time he represented Iran in various OPEC meetings.
- He later served as Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs from 1999 to 2004. He also served as Iran’s Ambassador to Japan, Canada, and the United Kingdom until 2005 when he voluntarily retired from the Government. Among his other accomplishments, Dr Adeli served as chairman of the coordinating council for foreign economic relations, coordinator of economic assistance to Afghanistan and Iraq.

- He was a clever kid and the youngest. He started to learn how to write and read when he was only four years old. When his father realized the this fact, he took him to school. He was refused to join because he was only four. He had to wait another two years before he could go to school.
- He started writing poems when he was in his 2nd class. In the meanwhile, he was taken to Afghanistan TV by his mother, who was working for Afghanistan TV at that time, to take part in programs for children. He was then selected by the directors to join Afghan Film and later Shafaq Film Production.
- He appeared in 5 Afghan movies before he had to leave his country and go to India. He went to Lovely Public School and later to Jamia Millia Islamia University for continuation of his studies. In the meanwhile, he joined Laxmi Maha Vedhiale to learn the basics of music. Ustad Yousuf Khan used to love his voice.
- He was graduated from Jamia Millia Islamia in the year 1995 and went back to Afghanistan before making his way towards London.
- His first ever public appearance was a concert for Afghan refugees in London on the first day of Eid-ul-Fiter. He proved himself in just two hours and the crowd just could not stop admiring him. He has had quite a few volunteer concerts for Afghans since he came to London.
- His very first commercial concert was launched by his brother Mr Rohullah Ehsanmand on the 19th day of March 1999, which was great. Once again his fame spread everywhere and people were desperate to get his latest video album.
- His second concert was in London on the 20th march 2000 and again, he was as great as he was expected to be. His fame was spreading wider around the world among the Afghan people.
- When his fame spread wider, Afghan people and fans in Germany were willing to see him live in the concert, thus, he was then invited to Germany Bermann city. He was surrounded by fans that did not let him come off the stage. When he was about to sing the last song of the night, he sang one, the crowd did not let him come down, he, then, sang another one and he sang eleven last songs during that night in concert. He had a concert in Berlin as well.
- He went to America. He had two concerts in New York and Virginia. His New York show did not go as he wished due to difference and problem of sound system and his keyboard's not working properly. But in Virginia he was as great as Bermann. Later on, he had a tour with Qader Eshpari and Mariam to Europe. The first concert was in Amsterdam, which was one of the biggest successes of his life’s career. Second concert was in Hamburg, which was also one of the greatest and lifetime achievements. A DVD of the mentioned will be on the market soon called “3STARS”. The third concert was in Essen and the last but not least in Frankfurt. They were the best performances, which achieved during his lifetime.

Pir Ilahi Bux

- Pir Ilahi Buksh was born on 9 July 1890 in a spiritual family of Dadu District, Sindh, Pakistan.
- In 1948, he was nominated the Chief Minister of Sindh province by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Pir Sahib was always proud to have been nominated as the Chief Minister of Sindh by no less than the Quaid-e-Azam himself.
- He was also the founder of Sindh University and was the prime mover of the establishment of Urdu College, Karachi. Pir Ilahi Bux was deeply perturbed over the mass influx of Muslim refugees from India during the early period of the independence of Pakistan and initiated a number of moves for the settlement of refugees in Sindh.
- He established the famous Pir Ilahi Buksh Colony in Karachi towards the end in 1948.
- He was also instrumental in inviting eminent educationists from Aligarh Muslim University, his alma mater, to serve the Muslims of Pakistan by appointing them in the Sindh University. One of such personalities was Professor A. B. A. Haleem from the Aligarh Muslim University, who was appointed by him as the first Vice Chancellor of Sindh University.
- He was the first member of his family who received higher education. Deeply moved by the Khilafat Movement, led by Maulana Mohammad Ali Jouhar, he soon left Aligarh Muslim University and joined Jamia Millia Islamia headed by Maulana Muhammad Ali Jauhar and did his B.A. from there.
- He was so deeply motivated by the Khilafat Movement and the struggle for the freedom of the Muslim Ummah that he left his studies and returned to Sindh as a leader of Khilafat Movement.
- On the suppression of the Khilafat Movement by the British Government, Pir Sahib was advised by Late Sir Shah Nawaz Bhutto, the then President, District Local Board, Larkana to go back to Aligarh for completing his studies.
- He also awarded him scholarship of the District Board for pursuing his educational career.
- Pir Sahib acceded to the advice of Sir Shah Nawaz Bhutto and proceeded to Aligarh Muslim University from where he did his M.A. in History and thereafter obtained his degree in Bachelor of Law

- Mahmud Hussain Khan ( July 5, 1907 – April 12, 1975) was a Pakistani academic, educationist, and politician, credited with pioneering the study of social sciences in Pakistan.
- He was appointed Minister of State for both Defence and Foreign Affairs in 1949, before serving as Minister for Education from 1952 to 1953.
- He taught as visiting professor at Heidelberg University, Columbia University, and the University of Pennsylvania during the 1960s, before serving as Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University from 1960 to 1963, and of Karachi University from 1971 until his death in 1975.
- He was the younger brother of Zakir Hussain, the first Muslim President of India, and the father-in-law of Rahimuddin Khan, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Pakistan Army. An ethnic Afridi Pashtun whose roots were in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, modern-day Pakistan.He attended Islamia High School, Etawah and Aligarh Government High School.
- He received his Ph.D from the University of Heidelberg in Germany in 1932. Mahmud Hussain started his career in academia as a Reader of Modern History at the University of Dhaka in 1933, where he became Provost, Fazlul Haq Hall in 1944 and Professor of International Relations in 1948.
